Context: what the EA trades
Master of Liquidity implements 6 independent Smart Money strategy families. This account primarily uses the liquidity sweep and Fair Value Gap strategies, trading XAUUSD and major forex pairs during London and New York sessions.
This account uses PROP mode β with a 3.5% daily drawdown limit and active news filter. Although it's not a prop firm account (it's own capital), the conservative configuration demonstrates that the EA can operate within the typical restrictions of FTMO, E8 or MyFundedFX.
Why drawdown matters more than returns
A 69% gain is attractive, but what truly matters to a professional trader is the relationship between gain and drawdown. In this case:
- Gain/DD ratio: 69.44% Γ· 8.19% = 8.47x
- 72% annual win rate with 79% in May β the system is improving
- 8.19% max drawdown β compatible with most prop firm rules (typical limit: 10%)
A system that gains 70% with 50% drawdown is unworkable in practice. A system that gains 70% with 8% drawdown is a real trading system.
Monthly performance breakdown
The most recent month (May 2026) is the best to date: +47% in the month with 244 trades and 79% win rate. This acceleration is due to XAUUSD activity during a period of high structural volatility.
Prior months showed more moderate results β which is expected and desirable. A system that always generates the same return regardless of market conditions doesn't exist. What matters is that negative months are controlled and positive months strong enough to compensate.
Limitations and transparency
The account has 4 months of live history β sufficient to evaluate system stability but not enough to claim long-term results with statistical certainty. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
May's performance is exceptionally high (+47%). Following months are likely to be more moderate. The full-period monthly average (15.50%) is a more realistic benchmark.
